I think it's safe to say that 2020 has thrown us all for a loop.  The big weddings that we're used to have become pretty rare this summer.  And while I miss those all day events with tons of guests, I'd have to say that the the backyard wedding is my absolute favorite thing about this crazy year!  They're intimate, laid back and all about the LOVE.  And at the end of the day, isn't that what it's all about?
Amy and John's wedding was the perfect example of a couple choosing to focus on the love. Â Their original plans looked a lot different, but I couldn't have imagined a more perfect wedding day. Â Everything took place at their home. Â They got ready while family and friends gathered in the back yard. Â Their ceremony was perfect and had me tearing up. Â We did family photos after they made it official and then headed to Boardman Park for portraits. Â It was the most beautiful summer day with lots of sunshine. Â IÂ really had the best time with these two!
After photos were done, we headed back to their house where they ate dinner with their guests.  The DJ kept everyone entertained while Amy & John danced, cut the cake (White House donuts!!) and enjoyed the evening with each other.Â
All in all, it was the best day! Â
